How do I use beard oil?
Every beard is unique but a good place to start is by applying a dime sized amount each day after your shower and and combing it through to distribute evenly.
How long will one bottle last?
The length and thickness of your beard in addition to the frequency of application will determine how much beard oil you need to use. As with most oils, a little will go a long way.
Many experts suggest that the average beard requires 6 drops a day, which means that a one-ounce bottle will last you about 100 uses, or approximately three months. However, many bearded dudes apply much more than 6 drops a day as well as applying it to their beard two and sometimes three times a day. If someone would apply beard oil 3 times a day a bottle would last you about a month.
Again, there is no set rule when applying beard oil, it's rather a matter of personal preference.

Where do you source your products?
All of our oil, butter, wash and wax are manufactured right here in the USA! We use the highest quality all natural ingredients across all of our product lines. Yes, we not only by American but we try to buy local when the products are available.
Do you have any guidelines for beard oil and/or beard balm usage you can recommend?
Yes and NO! That is, every beard is different so start with a small amount as you can always add more. A little oil goes a long way however all of our products are specifically formulated to not weigh your beard down and leave it greasy. Bottom line, how much beard oil and or balm you apply to your beard & mustache depends upon your own personal preference. Some guys only apply their product(s) of choice in morning, others morning and evening, again it's a personal choice.
Grainy balm?
Our beard balm is all natural, and maybe after a few uses you start to notice little white, grainy bits have formed. Don't be panic, the balm is still perfectly good. Those little grains are from the fatty acids found in unrefined shea butter (which is one of the main ingredient we use in our balm). Because some shipping methods or climate conditions may cause the butter to slightly melt, those fatty acids harden quicker than the butter and the end result are grains sometime but not always. If your beard balm has gritty grains it may take a little extra time to melt in your palm, but they are still great for your beard. If you don't like the grainy texture, that is totally fine too, here's how to fix that! Just unscrew the lid, place the canister in the oven at 190°F and let the balm melt to a liquid. Once melted, carefully remove the can (it's gonna be hot to the touch} and place directly into the fridge (If cold enough outside, you can put it outside). Let it cool completely and then recap. Presto, no more grains!
Hot weather disclaimer
During Periods of Hot Weather, please be aware that our beard balms and creams may melt during transit via USPS. Unfortunately we can't stop this from happening, as we can't really control how the postal service handles our packages, or how long they sit in their delivery trucks. However, we can tell you how to bring it back to life! That is, if your beard balm and or beard cream arrives melted, simply set it in the Fridge until it solidifies again. Once it returns to a solid state, remove it and let it return to room temperature. After this step, the balm will be back to it's original state, but to tweak the cream, just take a fork and whip it back into a creamy consistency. Although you may lose some of the aesthetic volume, it will not take away from the amazing softening power of this product!
