These coffee blends are on special closeout (although they were fresh roasted last week) due to the fact that we have ran out of those coffee beans and have no more to roast and won't be getting anymore anytime soon. Sumatra Black Satin Coffee (Dark Roast) - This Sumatran coffee is as rich in flavor as it is in history. Amazingly, this coffee was once thought to be lost to the world; it took over 100 years for this prized cultivar to be rediscovered because it was hidden amongst the lush jungles of Sumatra. Since then, these ancient Arabica trees have been replanted near Lake Takengon in West Sumatra, which is now world-famous for its production of gourmet coffee.
This darkly roasted Indonesian coffee brews to create a distinct flavor profile of smoky undertones combined with a heavy body. Each sip of Sumatra ‘Black Satin’ has a slight aftertaste of black pepper that will rejuvenate your senses.
Café Blend Coffee (Light-Medium Roast) - Our Café Blend brings to mind open air, sidewalk cafes with a sea of parasols open to shade the customers who are relaxing with friends or maybe with just a book. Any anxious thoughts you have may seem to take a back seat to the focus you now have on the intoxicating aromas, the smoothness of the blend, and the finish of the coffee. This is where we expect our Café Blend will take you.
This Central and South American blend of Arabica coffee beans is roasted to a light-medium state which creates a medium-bodied coffee with splendid aroma. With a wonderful depth, this bright coffee has a bittersweet taste that makes it exceptional.
Organic Peru 'Andes Gold' Coffee (Medium Roast) - This Peruvian coffee is grown on the edge of the Amazon jungle and the Andes Mountains in Peru. Junin, the sub-region of the Central Highlands, cultivates and harvests this certified organic coffee. For generations, coffee in this region has been tended to by local farmers who take pride in their coffee plantations, and take all the necessary steps to ensure the quality and integrity of their coffee.
Mildly acidic with a light body, this Organic Peru 'Andes Gold' coffee has an incredible flavor profile and aroma with a sweet and nutty finish. Roasted to a medium state, these ‘Andes Gold’ beans brew to create a well-balanced cup that has depth, smoothness, and low acidity.
